银杏树别称：白果，公孙树，鸭脚树，蒲扇　中国特有种，被尊称为“植物中的大熊猫”，国家I类保护树木，九华山分布较广，树龄在100年～1200年之间。

地质公园是以具有特殊地质科学意义，稀有的自然属性、较高的美学观赏、历史、文化价值的地质遗迹和景观的完整地理区域，并融合其它自然景观与人文景观于一体。它是人们观光旅游、探险科考、度假休闲、保健疗养、文化娱乐、走进自然的科学园地，融合地质多样性、生物多样性、文化多样性、资源多样性的保护利用，是地球科学研究、普及与资源保护利用的基地，是通过新产业、新就业、新收入支持社会可持续发展的新模式。至2018年，全球已经建立了140个世界地质公园，其中中国有37个。中国已建成207个国家地质公园。   九华山地质公园于2009年建设国家地质公园，2017年被列世界地质公园候选地。

By 2018, 140 UNESCO Global Geoparks have been approved in the world, of which 37 are in China. 207 National Geoparks have opened to the public in China.Jiuhuashan Geopark was ratified as a national geopark in 2009 and became a candidate for UNESCO Global Geopark in 2017.

枯木潭，是由华溪上游来水携带砂石，经长期冲击，流水旋转磨蚀，形成的锅穴式深潭，即壶穴。该壶穴略呈圆形，面积80平方米，深约1.5米，来水方向形成高差约2.5米的瀑布景观，雨水期瀑布景观较为壮观，枯水期瀑布静流，潭水翠绿。

meters and a depth of about 1.5 meters. The incoming water creates a waterfall landscape with a height difference
of about 2.5 meters. During the rainy season, the waterfall is quite spectacular, while in the dry season, it flows
gently, and the pool's water appears emerald green.

创建地质公园的目的

莲花峰位于翠盖峰北，由上、中、下莲花峰组成，最高峰上莲花峰海拔1050.4m。为锥状峰，花岗岩的垂直、水平节理裂隙发育，风化、冻融、重力崩落等作用，将峰体层层雕刻，犹如莲花。夏秋之交，雨霁初晴，云气氤氲，荡漾似海，峰浮云上，“莲峰云海”由此而来。

九华山地质公园简介

莲花峰景区是九华山世界地质公园最北部游览区，位于翠盖峰北，西洪岭南，由上、中、下莲花峰组成，最高峰上莲花峰海拔1050.4m。景区面积2.31km²。莲花峰景区以“莲峰云海”景观而著名。主要由花岗岩组成的峰丛、怪石、洞穴、瀑布等自然景观，主要景点有莲花峰、佛指峰、拱辰峰、螺髻峰、覆颜峰、云门峰、罗汉行道峰、鹞子峰、翠盖峰、五老峰、九华山最大的石瀑布-红石壁等，奇峰突兀，松石乖巧，是一条科学考察、寻幽揽胜、登山探险的理想路线。目前已经开发莲峰云海景区。

九华山地质公园山前景区位于柯村盆地，是地质公园的门户。景区东面以高耸入云的九子峰、狮子峰为屏，经低缓丘陵到柯村盆地，其间九华河自南向北穿景区而过，总面积约25km2。山前景区具有旅游服务和居民社会发展两大功能，是一个融公园管理、旅游接待、休闲度假、游客中转和地质文化展示为一体的景区。景区内有九华山游客服务中心、九华山博物馆等基础设施，有如舒潭印月、九华河、九华群峰等自然景观，还有柯村老街、九华山中心学校、九华山佛学院等丰富的人文风貌。

七布泉瀑布位于天华峰东，落差700余米，瀑布7折，一折一瀑，飞瀑腾空而起，声势浩大，远观如七匹白绢，又似飘飘云幡，被李白誉为"天河挂绿水"，极为壮观。
