区内群峰并耸，以峰成景，风光无限，拟人状物，气象万千。自然景观以"雄、奇、险、幽”为主要特征。主要由花岗岩组成的峰丛、怪石、洞穴、瀑布、潭池等景观。主要景点有:独秀峰、九子峰、天华峰、笔架峰、狮子峰、五老峰、聚玉峰、翠峰、天柱峰、双峰、云外峰、展旗峰、大古峰，黄瓜石、天狗望月、蟾蜍背子、取经归来，金鸡洞、财子洞、舒溪瀑布、上雪潭、饮钵潭、碧桃瀑布、百丈潭瀑布、百丈箭瀑布、浮桃涧、营蒲涧、游龙涧、嘉鱼池等自然景观和碧云亭、翠峰寺、心安寺、净居寺古塔、天柱书馆等人文景观。景区已经开发了九子岩景区。

Lion peak scenic area, one of the middle mountains of Jiuhuashan UNESCO Global Geopark, is located in thenorth of central Jiuhuashan and in the east of Ke Village New District, covers an area of 7.76 km², the highest ofwhich is Yunwai peak with an elevation of 1202.4m.
The scenic area has so many beautiful sceneries. The natural landscape is characterized by majesty, oddity danger and peace, mainly composed of granite peak cluster, strange rocks, caves, waterfalls, pools and othernatural landscape. The main altractions are as follows: Duxiu peak, Jiuzi peak, Tianhua peak, Bia peak, Lionpeak, Wulao peak, Juyu peak, Cui peak, Tianzhu peak, Shuang peak, Yunwai peak, Zhangi peak, Dagu peak.Cucumber Stone, Heaven dog watching moon, Toad carrying son, Returning, Jinji cave, Caizi cave, Shuxiwaterfall, Shangxue pool, Yinyuan pool, Bitao waterfall, Baizhangtan waterfall, Baizhangjian waterfall, Futacstream, Yingpu stream, Youlong stream, Jiayu pool and other natural landscape, as well as Biyun pavilionCuifeng temple, Xin'an temple, Jingju temple pagoda, Tianzhu library and other cultural landscape. Now Jiuziyan scenic area has been developed.
