位于九华山东北部、朱备镇东桥村西，由九子岩、僧家山等组成，景区面积2.53km2。九子岩景区是九华山著名的传统核心景区，景区内主峰天华峰海拔1084m，主要由花岗岩组成的峰丛、怪石、洞穴、瀑布、潭池、山间小型盆地等自然景观。主要景点有九子岩盆地、垂云涧、七布泉瀑布、月牙池及福海寺、双溪寺、九子寺、大兴和尚肉身堂、九子岩塔、“林岩竞秀”石刻群等。

景区山水风光雄奇灵秀，生态环境清爽宜人，名胜古迹星罗棋布。既有优美的自然景观又有悠久的佛教文化渊源。在九子岩可观赏九子泉声，远眺狮子峰林，并体会九子山悠远而深厚的意境2012年景区被批准为国家4A级旅游景区。

The main attractions include Jiuziyan basin, Chuiyun stream, Qibuquan waterfall, Crescenpool, Fuhai temple, Shuangxi temple, Jiuzi temple, Flesh body hall of Daxing monk, Jiuziyan pagoda, carving group,etc.

The scenic area has magnificent and beautiful fresh and landscapes, pleasant ecological environment,as well as numerous places of interest. There are not only beautiful natural landscapes, but also long Buddhist culturalhistory. In Jiuziyan, you can listen the sound of Jiuzi spring, overlook the Lion peak forest, and experience thelong and profound artistic conception of Jiuzishan. In 2012, the scenic area was approved as National AAAA Tourist Attraction
