丹霞地貌是一种以赤壁丹崖为特色的红色陆相碎屑岩地貌。

近水平岩层构成的丹霞地貌坡面，自上而下分为三种类型：

（1）受近水平岩层面控制的层面顶坡。

（2）受垂直节理控制的陡崖坡。

（3）受崩积岩块内摩擦角控制的崩积缓坡。

   “顶平、身陡、麓缓”三种坡面，是丹霞地貌中最基本、最简单的坡面类型，也是丹霞地貌的基本形态特征。

Danxia landform is a red terrestrial clastic rock landform characterized by red cliff.

Danxia landform slope composed of near horizontal strata can be divided into three types from top to bottom:

(1) The top slope of the stratum controlled by the stratum near the horizontal rock level.

(2) The steep slope controlled by vertical joints.

(3) Slope collapse controlled by internal friction angle of rock mass.

"Dingping, steep and gentle foothills" are the most basic and simplest slope types in Danxia landform, and are also the basic morphological characteristics of Danxia landform.
